When skin problems arise suddenly or for exacerbation: dermatitis, eczema, urticaria, erythema, acne, psoriasis. Our dermatologist ascertains the nature of symptoms such as: abnormalities found on moles; presence of rashes of various kinds; presence of angioedemas accompanied by pain; persistent itching; change in colour or texture of the skin.

How the dermatological examination at home works

In the first part of the visit the dermatologist gets the patient’s full medical history and collects all the information regarding the patient’s lifestyle (nutrition, smoking habits, alcohol consumption, level of physical activity and sedentary activity, previous or family pathologies, possible drug intake). The doctor also collects all the information about the new pathology (appearance and duration of manifestation, characteristics of symptoms).

In the second part of the visit, the dermatologist will examine the skin manifestations that prompted the patient to undergo the examination.

In case of doubt in making the diagnosis, the dermatologist can asks the patient for other instrumental tests, such as allergy tests, skin swab, skin and/or blood biopsy.
