The cardiologist at home intervenes in cases where it is necessary to undergo the check or the monitoring of the cardiovascular system or to verify the nature of sudden symptoms such us: high or low blood pressure, chest pain or discomfort that spreads to the shoulders, neck, arms or jaw. Tiring breathing (dyspnoea) at rest or under strain, fainting (syncope), dizziness, palpitation or reduction of force in general.
When to call the cardiologist at home
A cardiological examination at home is the ideal solution for all those who have difficulties in moving and for all those who do not want to go to a clinic in order to avoid queues and waits and have symptoms typical of cardiovascular diseases.
- Asthenia, strong fatigue not motivated by effort or stress
- Repeated chest pain associated with other symptoms such as: wheezing, sweating, nausea and/or vomiting, fainting, dizziness, rapid and irregular heartbeat

The ECG at home can be assessed together with other tests to diagnose and monitor the condition of the heart, you can take advantage of the electrocardiogram at home if required by your trusted cardiologist or as an aid to the cardiological examination at home.
The electrocardiogram at home is useful to investigate the symptoms of a possible heart problem such as: chest pain, palpitation, dizziness or wheezing.
- Arrhythmias – where the heart beats too slowly, too fast or irregular
- Coronary heart disease – in which the blood supply to the heart is blocked or interrupted by an accumulation of fatty substances
- Heart attacks – in which the blood supply to the heart is suddenly blocked

Cardiac holter or pressure holter at home
The cardiac holter is a non-invasive, painless test that records the heart’s electrical activity within 24 hours.
This survey is prescribed to study arrhythmias and to investigate the origin of symptoms such as: palpitations, wheezing, dizziness and fainting.
The application of the holter can be requested as support to the examination of our cardiologist at home or because required by your trusted cardiologist, in both cases just book the exam at the Call Center to have at home, in a few hours, a nurse for the application of the holter avoiding queues and waits in a clinic.
How the cardiac holter test works
The cardiac holter is performed by means of a small device that is placed on the chest using adhesive plates.
The device records and stores the electrical activity of the heart within 24 hours.
No special preparation is required for the examination. On the contrary, it is recommended to continue to carry out the normal daily activities having only the foresight not to detach the plates from the skin.
The positioning of the holter, as well as its removal, for the reading of the recorded data, and the delivery of the report, take place directly at the patient’s home.
How the pressure holter test works
The pressure holter is a non-invasive, painless test that records the blood pressure activity within 24 hours. It’s an investigation that is used in cases of hypertension, pressure changes or to monitor the effects of a drug therapy.
For the execution of the pressure holter, a device is placed on the patient’s arm who must wear it for a whole day, during which its pressure will be automatically recorded at regular intervals.
After 24 hours the doctor returns to the patient’s home to remove the device, read the recorded data and process the report that will be handed over directly.
How the cardiological examination at home works
In a first step, the cardiologist collects information about the patient’s lifestyle – what they eat, whether they smoke, whether they practice physical activities, etc. – and ask if anyone in the family has heart problems.
In a second phase, our specialist proceeds to the clinical examination of the cardiovascular system – by percussion and auscultation – and the measurement of blood pressure.
If necessary, a third phase is reserved for the execution of the electrocardiogram.
