Through ultrasound examination it is possible to identify most of the pathologies of individual organs such as: malformations, stones, tumours etc.

The ultrasound at home is a service offered by The Doctor At Home, home healthcare portal of Medical Service Assistance, a company authorized by the Lazio Region.

How the ultrasound at home works

The ultrasound is an investigation that takes about 20 minutes during which the doctor, after making the patient take a comfortable position, applies a transparent gel on the part that needs to be studied by sliding the ultrasound probe.

The images produced are displayed on a monitor and they allow the doctor to immediately release the report to the patient.

The exam preparation methods are provided at the time of the booking.
